Advanced Class for Level 2 Certification
For Certification Program Students, Certified CMI Practitioners and non-CMI Practitioners (PTs, OTs, MTs and other medical personnel)

This three-hour class will present information about musculoskeletal hypermobility – what it is, how to test for it, and its effect on human movement. The agenda includes discussion of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, an inherited connective tissue disorder that affects collagen throughout the body.
In addition, we will present ideas on how to help people with hypermobility issues. This includes, but is not limited to: bracing options, modifications for exercises and functional movement, and ways to use the CMI Pathways to spread the stress of movement over larger areas for joint protection.
