Dr. Paul Davidovits, Professor of Chemistry at Boston College, authored the best selling textbook Physics in Biology and Medicine that relates basic physics to living systems. At this class Dr. Davidovits will discuss and demonstrate the effects of gravitational forces on human movement. Dr. John Ratey, Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, is one of the world’s foremost authorities on the brain-fitness connection. Dr. Sandy Burkart is an orthopedic certified specialist in private practice with the Palm Beach Institute of Sports Medicine and is a teacher and consultant with Functional Rehabilitation Associates. His work integrates the neuromechanical sciences with orthopedic physical therapy and the Feldenkrais Method to create functionally based evaluations and treatment protocols. Dr. Burkart received his Physical Therapy degree from the University of Pennsylvania, his Ph.D. in Anatomy from West Virginia University and is a certified Feldenkrais practitioner.
