Basics 3: Advancing the Pathways
With Kimi Hasegawa, MS, LPT
In the third class of the Transformations Through CMI basics series, we expand the use of CMI Pathways to gain strength, balance and stability, and mobility. We will practice:
- Variations on positions that you already know
- New positions such as hands-and-knees and bridging
- Targeting specific needs
- Using exercise bands and free weights for strengthening
- Incorporating whole-body movements
As always, the goal is to engage the brain and body toward the creation of new, more efficient and pleasurable habits of movement.
